I recently went to Uno's for quasi-forbidden pizza with my autistic son, who will soon turn 22. Uno's now has an entire gluten-free menu, which is pretty decent. My son is old enough to remember that gluten-free usually meant cardboard. The Uno's in Framingham is testing a device called Ziosk, which can connect you to movie reviews and USA Today. It also has a nifty game called marble madness, which kept Derek engaged enough he didn't mind that I spoke at length to the waiter, Nico Whitehead, who had experience working with someone how had Asperger's. The only danger with Ziosk is that you can order dessert on it, but should that happen by accident, the staff is quite understanding. All in all, the Ziosk was a great distraction and kept Derek from speeding through his food in record time.
